DESCRIPTION:In this workshop session\, we will explore how the high-perform
 ance protocol gRPC can be used to interact with a modern network OS: monit
 oring\, configuration\, operations\, and even beyond!\n\n## Content\n\nThe
  workshop will touch on what gRPC is\, and which gRPC services are availab
 le for managing networks. We will try out the full suite of gNxI protocols
  using open source tools\, namely:\n- **gNMI**: used for network managemen
 t and monitoring\n- **gNOI**: for operational tasks\, like image upgrades 
 and reboots\n- **gNSI**: security-related tasks\, e.g. gRPC access policy 
 and certificate rotation\n- **gRIBI**: manipulating the RIB programmatical
 ly\, injecting routes on-demand\n\n## Prerequisites\n\nWe will be providin
 g participants with a VM pre-loaded with all necessary tools and network t
 opology.\n\n**No previous programming or gRPC experience required for this
  beginner-friendly workshop!**
