DENOG Meetup Opening
This presentation is about how we delivered our BGP Workshop on DENOG17. We talk about the workshop in general and how we implemented the virtual topology for 40+ participants using various automation tooling. The Idea behind the presentation is to talk about our lessons learned, encourage people to attend DENOG workshops and maybe even think about offering a workshop themselves.
At some point, many service providers are faced with the question of how to implement a redundant connection for their access equipment. There are many different approaches and protocols -from Layer 1 to Layer 3- each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Using real-world examples, our presentation will outline several possible scenarios that we would like to discuss with the audience.
